What is Masser?
A finished website for your small business, and the looking after that goes with it: hosting, security, search groundwork and a real person when you need one. One plan, £29 a month.
Do I need a website already?
No. If you have one, paste its address. If you don't, answer a few short questions about what you do and where, and your site arrives the same way.
Is it free to look?
Yes. Seeing your site needs no sign-up and no card. You only pay when you decide to go live.
How quickly will I see my site?
In seconds. Paste your address, or answer a few short questions, and your finished homepage appears in front of you.
Where do the words on my site come from?
From your own facts: the site you have now, or your answers if you don't have one. We never invent a fact about your business.
What kinds of business is Masser for?
Small businesses that serve customers: trades, clinics, salons, cafés, consultants, venues and hundreds more. See examples for your trade. Masser isn't for online shops with a basket and a checkout.
Making it yours
How do I change something?
Tap it. Rewrite any word right on the page, swap a photo, change your colours and fonts, or show, hide and reorder sections.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes. Upload your own photos and swap any picture on your site for one of them.
Can I add more pages?
Yes. Add a page from your menu and it builds, fully written, in your style.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Undo is always one tap away.
When do my changes go live?
When you press Publish. Nothing you change is public until then.
Can someone make changes for me?
Ask in plain words from your site and it's done for you. A real person picks up anything the assistant can't.
Can my site take bookings?
Yes, your site can take bookings. Ask us and we'll help.
Is my site available in other languages?
English only, for now.
Going live and your web address
How do I go live?
When you're happy, choose monthly or yearly and go live. We take your site live on your own web address, and we only tell you it's live once every page is checked and working.
I already have a web address. What happens to it?
It stays yours, and your new site goes live on it. We show you exactly what to change where your address is held, then handle the rest.
I don't have a web address yet.
Your site comes with a free Masser web address. If you want one of your own, you can register it in your portal for a yearly fee, and we set it all up for you. There is nothing technical to do.
Will my email still work?
Yes. Going live changes only where your website points. Your email stays exactly where it is. Masser doesn't provide email inboxes.
What happens to my old site?
It stays up until the new one takes over, so nothing vanishes overnight.
Price and paying
How much does it cost?
£29 a month, or £300 a year, which works out at £25 a month. One plan, everything included.
When do I pay?
Only when you go live. Seeing your site, trying the styles and making changes before then costs nothing.
Is there a setup fee?
No.
Do the prices include VAT?
Yes. Every price on this site includes VAT.
Am I tied in?
No. Pay monthly and cancel any time, or pay yearly and save £48.
Do you have a referral offer?
Yes. Refer someone who joins and you get 3 months free. Just let the team know.
Getting found on Google
Is SEO included?
Yes. Every site goes live with the groundwork built in: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and your business details in the format search engines read. How we do it.
Can you get me to the top of Google?
No one honest can promise that. What we promise is that the groundwork is done properly from your first day, on your own web address.
How long does search take?
Search takes time: usually weeks to appear and months to climb.
Can I see how my site is doing?
Yes. Once you've joined you can see your visitors, where they came from, taps on your phone and email links, and enquiries from your forms.
Your account and help
How do I sign in?
Press Sign in at the top of any page. Sign in with Google, or with a link we email you.
Can more than one person use the account?
Yes. You can share the sign-in with the people you trust.
How do I talk to a person?
Email team@masser.uk, or sign in and ask from your site. A real person reads every message.
